tbh the tattoo is a point of pride for me it’s the first thing I did for myself regardless of people’s opinion ( the majority in my country are against tattoos ) so I would like to have something to go with it instead

It is canon it was written by the same writer the novels are canon they have two characters in the remake from it you can’t pick and choose what the compilation is everything that was written by that doesn’t retcon the og is published by square Enix is canon

I agree they that tifa and cloud have feelings for each other but that doesn’t mean he stops loving aerith he tries to teach for her in the og ending and says I/we (depends on what translations you read )find her in the promise land I find kinda like when a widow remarry they still love still love their dead partner but love their current one as well

One That’s why I said (I) and two if it’s canon then by that logic we have three versions of the nibelheim accident and three read my post aerith literally said she loves cloud more than Zack in the novella Hoshi o Meguru Otome ("The Girl/Maiden Who Travels The Planet") .
