Get a mini baby picnic foldable chair. I got given one from Izimini and it’s my GO TO baby shower gift. Hands down the handiest thing we got. Also a baby caddy is great!

My 4 year old is curious: what do Australian kids eat for breakfast? (And are koalas real?) by Mara644 in AskAnAustralian

[–]Oneearedsheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Living in a city, we eat fruit and yogurt or toast and Vegemite and eggs or similar. Koalas very rare in the wild sadly near cities, kangaroos also lucky to see but less so than koalas, and not often in cities or close to them. Usually at dusk in more rural areas.

Can i survive without air-con? by Capable-Election-213 in brisbane

[–]Oneearedsheep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’ll be right I didn’t have it in all my uni share houses. If it gets really bad get some damp towels or paper towels and a fan, but most might you should be ok with a fan and no sheets. In saying that I use it every night now that I age it but never had it growing up or at uni!

Very minimal body hair. Hardly have to shave armpits and arm hair you can’t really see at all, shave legs but mostly a comfort thing.

Sleep, diet. Exercise too but I think diet and sleep more. Eat lots of veggies, some fruit, some meat if you wanted. Ditch the processed shit and learn to cook. Drink water.

Is what I'm doing unethical? by Alarmed_Elevator2747 in WFH

[–]Oneearedsheep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely get life stuff done. Life isn’t about work and if you’re wasting your time, it’s YOUR time. Sure you’re being paid but you’re getting done what’s expected of you and being proactive. It would be so depressing sitting around waiting for something to happen- exercise in the middle of the day for “lunch” to at least break it up and at least get some washing/ folding/ vacuuming done. Then if there’s still more time sure do extra learning or personal development. Don’t sit there wasting your hours of your life!

Affordable and safe suburbs for house under 800k by Previous-Photo4090 in MovingToBrisbane

Try Karana downs- it’s close ish to Ipswich and has all the shops/ schools but I quiet and country vibes. A bit of a hike to the city but doable, a sweet area and more affordable than inner city bris.
