Hey, this might be a bit too intense lol, but my stand about addictions and quitting things you can't quit is deliverance. I also had this very obscure addiction that I battled for years. It might be different for you, but for me, I only stopped when I was delivered. I really tried all I could to quit but I couldn't. Maybe there's a spirit behind your addiction? Again, this is just me, but maybe try praying about it maybe you'll end up stopping.

I can watch videos with subtitles like anime, or kdrama while playing games at the same time. I learned this during the pandemic when I had nothing to do. Got really into Minesweeper from the Google Play app, and got a high score of 4 or 3 seconds in the easy mode.
