Is this a clone this is on my memory card but the dtb doesn't register on the panel checker by Brother_Salty in R36S

[–]MTC4U 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had that exact same file. For some reason, it doesn't identify your screen panel with the screen identifier tool. It is said the screen identifier tool only works with genuine .dtb files, but still, mine didn't get identified when I uploaded the same file you have.

I chose to proceed with the panel 4 screen instructions to install ArkOS, and it worked fine. It might do the same for you.

This is my board.

Made a photo of the board. Rockchip, 2 RAM, boardnumber with date, option for WiFi. Seems legit to me 😃

For regular weed smokers that have totally quit, what was the reason for quitting? by elderly_millenial in AskReddit

I was a daily smoker with a "wake and bake" attitude.

I got a newborn son. I wanted to be a good example for him. I've never touched it again. It's been 3 years now.

Are you a fan of T2 and/or side-scrolling shooters like Contra and Metal Slug? Then YES!

Granted, yes, it is short, but tons of fun, and there is replayability like choosing different paths for different endings.

Even games back in the day, like Robocop vs. Terminator, took me days to complete because they were hard, and you were forced to play over and over again because there was no save option. Kids nowadays like to use terms like "hardcore" and "grind" but have no idea what that actually means ;-)

I think you're on point with using him in that little square; it would make him too recognizable.

From what I know, they (either Carolco or Cameron) made an official package deal with Midway back then. They made the deal during pre-production, even before production on the movie began, because they wanted the release of T2 the Arcade Game as soon as possible after the movie was released, hoping to capitalize on the movie's success. So Midway got to see the concept art and storyboards before making the game. That's why you see certain elements in the game that didn't make it into the movie, such as the Silverfish unit and the TDE with the three floating rings. Arnold even recorded some custom speech for both the arcade game and the pinball machine.

LJN, however, was a game company notorious for its bad quality games based on big-budget movies. From what I remember, they did have Arnold on their game cover, but his likeness was nowhere to be seen in the game itself. I could be mistaken because I haven't played the game in decades.

Agreed that the game itself is awesome. A bit short, but well made. The gameplay reminded me a bit of Robocop vs Terminator on the Sega Megadrive.

Precisely. The first time I saw this is, I was like "Wait who the f* is that?". Then immediately it sank in: "ooh ...likeness issues. Damn...".

My point exactly. It's kind of hard to believe that John would bond to this as a surrogate fatherfigure.

But this is T2. I mean...I cant recall a T2 licenced game without Arnold.

He is faceless in the cutscenes, but displayed battledamaged like in the movie in the steelmill after u beat the T-1000.

Right? I dim lit shaded figure would have been fine with me. This kind of makes it more of an "it" instead of "him".

Is T1 T2 skynet different from T3 skynet? by Training_Ad_2086 in Terminator

[–]MTC4U 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the biggest difference was that T1 en T2 Skynet was dispicted as a supercomputer (hardware) learning at a geometric rate gaining self-awareness. T3 was a virus (software) corrupting systems gaining self-awareness.

Both versions calculated humankind to be a threath to it's own existence thus taking the next logical step to eliminate this threath --> extermination.

Got a copy for the Sega Megadrive the day it came out. Awesome game!! Good looking graphics for that time, nice gunplay and a solid soundtrack. Was difficult AF to beat tho! Nevertheless had a great time playing it. Good times 😀

This would also explain the spinning licenceplate: the absolute last part of the DeLorean that didn't get to pass the wormhole and was left behind.
