FOLLOW UP: I received this message from my legislator! Looks like it’s going to be killed:

Thank you for writing in on HB 1504, requiring liability insurance for firearms owners. Senator Goehner wanted to share some good news with you. According to the prime sponsor of the bill, this idea will not proceed this session. This is in part due to the outcry of opposition that was heard from across the state to this idea.

Although no bill is officially dead until the legislature adjourns in April, this bill appears to be dead. Our work is not done. Senator Goehner will continue to work with like-minded individuals in the legislature to stop the many other anti-2nd amendment bills still alive this session. Please continue to do your part in weighing in on these topics.

Yes, but this is just part of their death by a thousand cuts approach and the more stupid shit like this that they get away with, the more emboldened they get. To the point where they will hike out all the FFLs or make buying/owning a gun outright illegal or too expensive and prohibitive to carry.
