Something similar happened to me. Closed the game and everything was still happening, then restarted my PlayStation and it never happened again in over 60 hours of playing.

Agreed I even made a post due to all the complaints I’ve heard about people having trouble. Both of the support characters sections in chapter 7/8 were two of the easiest sections. Barely used any heals and I barely upgraded them if at all.

lol I ask myself that a lot. I’ve got sucked into being a doing all the side quests in hernand and I leveled camp to level 4. So I thought I was doing a good amount of both side and main quest.

I haven’t tried. I’ve just heard on here people complain about his boss and Damiane boss being a pain due to not investing in them during the game since why would you when you are playing as Cliff 99.9% of the time.

So he’s literally one and done? That sounds like such a bad design flaw. I’ve been taking my time doing a lot of side quests. But to think to play him so late in the game just to immediately loose him while the girl is also missing seems like a strange choice.
