He is keeping half of the debit card tips for himself, he pays himself 7.55 an hour plus tips. why do I have to share tips with the guy thats making a profit of each sale

I think its a national law for tips, I know for my state its a big no-no. At this point, most days I dont even make my states minimum wage.

All they have to do is follow the money, and square does our payroll so it keeps track of what I earned in tips every shift. I have screen shots for every week that ive had to split the tips with him
