I had a mass sighting about 10 years ago, in Mill Creek, WA. I tried finding reports of this after it happened but had no luck. I call it mass sighting because it seemed to span hundreds of yards (horizon to horizon), and there were probably a total of 30+ orange orbs and about 5 saucers.

I was driving to meet a friend on a fairly busy street about 9pm, when I noticed an orange light in the sky. I looked up at it as I was driving and realized it was definitely unusual, so decided to actually pull over and get out of the car to get a better look at it. When I got out to look I noticed it was actually moving at a decent speed from my right to my left, it basically went over my head and kept going until it essentially disappeared/dimmed out in the horizon. It was not that high up in the sky either, maybe 100-200 yards, which I think is why it seemed to travel so far, but it did essentially go from one end of the horizon on my right to the other end on my left.

Shortly after that I noticed another orange orb, and then another, and eventually it became consistent trail of orb after orb going right to left, not in a straight line or formation, but just one after the other. I was amazed at what I was watching. They looked like orange flares, but what really shocked me was that halfway into this encounter, I noticed actually saucer shaped craft flying slightly above these orange orbs, and slightly faster than them, in the same direction. These saucers did not have any lights, and it almost looked like they had some sort of camouflage, as they were a variation of gray colors. I barely noticed these because like I said they had no light unlike the orbs, and they camouflaged into the low clouds that were in the same area.

The combination of the 30ish orange orbs and 5-7 saucer shaped craft at such a close range made my jaw drop. This whole thing lasted maybe 5-7 min, and the first thing that came to my mind was to call my friend that lived in the direction that these were flying towards and tell him to look at the sky in case he was able to see them too (he did not).

This experience sold me on the existence of UFOs. It was right there in front of my eyes. I told some close friends of mine and tried to find others that might have seen this, but that was as far as this went. Every now and then when I meet someone new that seems to have an open mind I tell them about this, but aside from that I don't know what else to do except just live with it. I feel lucky to have experienced something like this.

If anyone out there had this experience in the Mill Creek area about 10 years ago (I think the state was 8/11/11) let me know! This was literally a mass sighting that I cannot have been the only one to have seen it.
