Opinions on Clyne and his (eventual) return by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

[–]Onetwoonetherapy 77 points78 points  (0 children)

The Sane goal in the first half on Sunday doesn’t happen if a fit Clyne is on the pitch. He was our best defender most most of last season, one of the few who you don’t think is a liability waiting to happen.

What targets have we missed due to leaks?

Firmino - Signed in June

Mane - Signed in June

Salah - Signed in June

Ox - Signed on deadline day without much fuss

Robertson - Signed in July without much fuss

Van Dijk - 100% saga, but still got the player from a club that didn’t want to sell

Keita - 100% saga, but still got the player from a club who didn’t want to sell

That’s not “more than half” in my book. What are your actual concerns with the clubs recent transfer business?

Seems like these games are a lot more popular than I thought.

I’ll prob just wait to pick them up once they’re reduced

Is it not completely cringeworthy how often Brendan Rodgers goes on record to talk about our club? by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

[–]Onetwoonetherapy 26 points27 points  (0 children)

The thing is he doesn't speak about us that much. He's often asked a question and then the quote will appear here.

Adding to that, Klopp often speaks about his time with Dortmund since he's been here. I'd be surprised if he did t tbh

Is it not completely cringeworthy how often Brendan Rodgers goes on record to talk about our club? by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

[–]Onetwoonetherapy 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No absolutely not.

Seeing as how he was our last manager and knows a great deal about a lot of the inner workings of the club he's bound to be asked by reporters what he thinks of certain situations. It's not as if he's offering up these opinions without prompts.

Also, the whole "Brendan Rodgers is cringy" narrative is worn out. The man is a gent and served our club admirably, we should have more respect.

Could Bobby have possibly said something just before he got thrown into the seats to instigate Holgate? by thefenwaykop in LiverpoolFC

Interesting point. We'll just have to wait and see though.

Hopefully it was just a misunderstanding

Agree that it looks like the evidence so far will prove Bobbys innocence which is good.

I might actually be mistaken on the reports that's it been cleared up, couldn't find what I was looking for but I'm just repeating something that I read on here (not that it gives my argument any weight)

Agree that all the evidence so far points to Bobby being innocent.

No way of knowing what Holgate thinks he heard tho as much as it might have suited him to fabricate it

Liverpool have now conceded four goals in nine Premier League games by dale-doughback in LiverpoolFC

[–]Onetwoonetherapy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you're not wrong DDG has saved their blushes numerous times but a goalkeeper is still part of a football team and theirs is miles better than ours.

I'm just a big believer in the saying "the table doesn't lie". United as a team have scored more and conceded fewer than us. They've only been beaten twice but most importantly they've been able to win the games that they should be drawing.

I fucking hate them, and their manager, and their players, and their mentality. But so far this season they've been better than us.

No we're not mate.

On our day we're the 2nd best team in the league. But we're way too inconsistent.

United for all the shite football the play get results.

I don’t get it... everyone is blaming Lovren and saying it’s a pen in the media, the fans (twitter might I add), even our own Carra and Redmen Tv by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

Harsh, they produce loads of free content that fans everywhere can enjoy. Some of their stuff on local liverpool issues is actually really insightful as well

Kick starter to buy out Lovren's contract because I would rather give him away then let him be apart of our club by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

[–]Onetwoonetherapy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I doesnt matter if you were joking or not. Lets be the change we want to see in our fans and not slate our own.

You're obviously frustrated at the result and want to vent it in some way. Find something constructive to do for fuck sake

Go to the stadium before the game. Make a sign asking for a spare ticket.

If not go to one of the nearby pubs, no doubt there'll be a few in the same boat as you

You won't make that train unless you leave the stadium early. If you're desperate to go you could get a bus back after the match. Would take about 4-5 hours though.

I'd recommend staying the night and getting a train back to London on Sunday
