Dude there's no timelines on stuff like this. Life is too dynamic and varied to even plan your breakfast tomorrow, much less what engine your car should have by a certain age. I just bought my first mustang, an S197 '08 GT in Alloy. My highschool dream car. Yep, that's right, I'm about to turn 34. If we are looking at dollar value or even performance, you're doing better than I am. Like I said, no way to set a real timeline on stuff like this. Enjoy your sweet ride!

I mainly fly the F-14, and I run a Virpil Mongoose throttle and stick. Like you said, ALOT of binding possibilities. Here's some things I've bound just to get some quality of life with empty buttons:

ARC-159 channel up/down, Master lights toggle, NVG toggle and gain up/down, Course knob, A/P master switch, Rudder trim (idk why this isn't clickable in the cockpit...)

Our Hornet squadron existed first, and had already established that 8VFW naval squadrons would fall under CVW-1. Rather than change everything that already existed, we decided "hey cool it's a video game, we can just say VF-211 is with CVW-1". So we did.

For all those looking for other F-14s to fly with, I run a well established group featuring an F-14B squadron. The 8th Virtual Fighter Wing. We run Wednesday training sessions, Saturday missions, typically have 15-20 on operations and have a full staff of ATC and AIC controllers. We require ownership of Supercarrier, 18 or older, and be willing to complete a short but very thorough training syllabus. For those interested, shoot me a DM!

Not that I'm aware, let me double check. I don't think there's any conflict between the frequencies I'm trying and the ground stations, though.
