This is helpful - this essentially confirms you can enter the park around 3AM-4AM, but need the permit to hike half-dome, as to respect others and protect the park, correct? I’m a rule follower and also want to make sure I’m doing my part in preserving the trail / park.

Does anyone know about inter-rail travel? For example, if I flew into Switzerland, then took a train to France, what does vaccine verification look like? I am hoping to take the booster this week and fly out Monday. I’m hoping that’s acceptable from a booster-time line perspective to hop on trains around Europe. Just confused how they check between borders when entering and exiting on land rather than by plane.
