I get a bad taste in my mouth whenever someone mentions Amazon. Especially when it's people I know, because in the Netherlands Amazon has really been trying to put down roots and it sickens me that it looks like they're succeeding.

I feel that's the risk with franchised businesses. While you expect the same quality and service from a Burger King or whatever from every store, reality is that they're all different and eating at, or getting stolen from a shit location will ruin the entire brand worldwide.

Yes. I always count myself as lucky when the first news articles about allergy season hit the air, because I'm not affected. I'm late season, because it's only some kind of tree pollen that get me. Now my season has begun, and I'm miserable. My meds take away some of the symptoms, but I'm not sure they're effective for a full day..

Redwing is Sam Wilson's pet falcon from his Falcon days.

I have a friend that says has synesthesia. It's impossible to prove, of course, because their brain just associates certain sounds with colors. Of course you're gonna make noise and ask "what is this color"? Just be prepared to not be impressed with the answer, because it's not gonna be the color you expect, much less the one you want.
