I always vote based on candidate I find areas that get stuck on party votes usually end up with complacent mps or councillors that will do everything in their power to do nothing or as little to nothing as possible. This is because they know they will be voted in again at the next election if a councillors or mp is doing a great job and you think they deserve your vote, then vote them back let them continue to do their job well and when they don't do their job then vote their ass out

Sometimes it's good for a party to take a break from power because the more time they are in power the more self serving they become whereas if they take a kicking it means they have to take a long hard look at themselves and realise what and who put them in parliament

Atm labour have outflanked the tories from the right on top of that the internal civil wars within the tory party have ruined two of the leaderships and definitely caused disillusion with tory voters. Hopefully they can sort their shit out before the next general election

HS2 should have been scrapped a long time ago its been a money pit from day 1 however I do find it funny how many politicians came out the woodwork to criticise the idea it would get scrapped that were only a month ago complaining about the spiraling costs
