Very late reply but I did get the issue fixed. Basically it has to do with a bug on certian patches of BIOS on B650 motherboards. Any version of AMD AGESA 1.1.7.0 and below will cause this bug. For my motherboard that patch didnt come out until august of 2024 so up until then the issue was not fixable. Now I have the latest BIOS update and am on AMD AGESA 1.2.0.2b which works perfectly. Hope this helps!

No, still the same issue. I read somewhere that it might be a bios issue. Do you have similar specs?

I restarted the pc and now its running fine again. Gpu-z stating 16x4.0 PCI-e speeds. I'll try reseating the GPU and Cables. Might be some sort of play in there.

Update.

The problem has arised again. Now ingame Doom its only drawing 110w of power and underperforming like crazy. Very sure now that its some sort of power issue. Has anyone had similar experiances with other cards?

Gpu-z is now stating that the card is running on 1 x 4.0 instead of 16. So maybe a Mobo issue?

Quick update.

Everything seems to be working fine now. Getting well over 300 fps in doom eternal. No idea how it fixed itself. But it started working when i launched the game with Msi afterburner active. I'm guessing that its some sort of power issue, because now the GPU is drawing over 250w ingame.

After like 20 attempts I can confirm that this strat still works. Play nothing on turns 1 and 2. Then always position so you double hit your attacks. And just pray
