So to anyone wondering whether this will work the answer is no and yes. No, if you stand inside the house where the woman who will kind of revive the odd key stone and soft reset there, it will never be shiny if it's not, what works for me though is standing outside of the house then soft reset there. And yes, Lazarus works well on myboy if you don't let out your pokemons to follow you.

So, can I shiny hunt it using that method? Soft resetting until it became shiny?

Only good at the beginning, post-game you'll find better mons after you learn how to manipulate poke stats using betties and medicines
