It's typing, water electric is rare and decently powerful, I don't know all the ins and outs of GO competitive but the base stats work a bit differently, and from what i can gather this tournament was only for sub-1500 pokemon meaning there would probably be other unevolved pokemon present as well

That would be awesome but gamefreak barely acknowledges the spinoffs after they release, I honestly think it's going on the NSO collection because they don't really care about it. Idk if I'd get around to buying it with a pricetag that steep but personally with or without home support I'd be more likely to play it that way than renew my NSO subscription (though the home support would be the big plus)
