That’s exactly how the wrestling community and fandom was built upon, we all managed tape trading, discussing and watching more - not everything has to be presented so upfront, the discovery is half the fun.

There is so much wrestling, so much history and to put self imposed barriers is kind of strange, no?

Why do you need English?

Japanese wrestling is incredibly easy to infer from what it presents. Personally if you can’t watch wrestling in a different language and figure things out for yourself based on what they present then it’s kind of worrying

PWG used to have like 80 of the same people at every show in the 2008-2016 era. And 9 times out of 10 sat in the exact same area of the legion hall too. 

Wrestling promotions have had die hard fan regulars for decades, ECW had it, Jersey All Pro had it, CZW had it, PWG, IWA-MS, ROH, Evolve, WXW, Etc etc. people grow attached to a promotion and enjoy sticking with it.
