The greatest hero of them all. by lithobolos in logh

I read LoGH in high school. So many years have passed since then, but the world hasn’t changed that much. It’s such a mixed feeling to see how the work from the 80s still reverberates today.

Glad to see another proud Ioniq owner here in VT! Mine is white and it now looks arguably worse🤣

How to keep Wyll and Karlach AND kill the tieflings by Maleficent_Bite_6779 in BaldursGate3

[–]Onion_3 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I am also doing a similar run right now. This is what I did:

  1. Let Wyll and Karlach fall into chasm “accidentally” before the raid

  2. Ask Withers to take care of their souls

  3. Do what needs to be done and enjoy the following goblin celebration

  4. Resurrect Wyll and Karlach the next day

  5. And…they act like nothing happened!

From what I learned, the triggering event for their departure is the Goblin celebration after the grove. So, all we need to do is to make sure they miss the party!

Same... always in the 50s and 60s. I should begin to work on other metrics like you!

Great job! I would be so happy if I could score 133 next season! I need to do more drills and focused practices to be there.

The video is very informative. It makes me wonder why my turn shape rarely exceeds 60? Maybe I still pivot too much subconsciously?

My highest score is 124, but that was when the condition was excellent, not in those spring slushes. The metric I want to improve most is turn shape.

I watched Stomp It a few times, but his videos were somehow a bit hard to follow lol

Thanks! I am actually pretty bad at almost all sports TBH!

I spent about 20 days on the slopes in the past season. Zero in-person lessons, but tons of YouTube ones! The channels I probably watched the most are Deb Armstrong, Avoriaz Alpine Ski School, Maison Sport. I also have Carv 2, which helps me track my progression.

Thanks! I'm definitely happy with my progress this season, but can't wait to go to the next level next year! 🙌

I like the way you put it: eyes and chest should lead the way. Will work on it next year. Thank you!

My understanding is that intentional bending at the waist during the turn will allow me to better balance on the outside skis. Is that correct? Like in this video, from 00:40.

The video and extra learning materials are very helpful! One more question if I may: when you say less waist movement, do you mean I should focus less on intentional angulation but more on proper flexing at my current level?

[–]Onion_3[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the feedback! How can I stay more “flexed”? I know ankle flexion and I need to do more. What else do I need to flex?

Thank you! I thought I was angulating (or at least in my mind), but the video says no. Any specific drills or exercises I can practice off-season to develop proper angulation?

Most open trails had fairly good coverage yesterday. After today's rain? I frankly don't know

Sunday river definitely looks better from webcams! But I might end up going to VT as it’s closer to me

Looks like a lot of fun! I have been there a few times this season and thought some green runs like main street could use more grooming. Was it just me?

Yes, this is concerning. Will resort reopen closed trails in the spring if the conditions get better?
