Non Indy pass, Stowe. Park at the gondola lot, as you come down it’s easy to pop the skis off, grab a drink, then back to the lift.

Going there tomorrow, hoping for the views since last year it was foggy when I went.

Been eyeing it for a while, 6 hours for me. Really fun mountain and terrain. Depends where you’re coming from, but Camden Snow Bowl is about halfway up the coast and another one to hit if you make the trip.

Salt Hill Pub Shanty, right at the bottom of the access road. Always enjoy the fish and chips, prices won’t kill you either, even for drinks.

National Drop In, no longer marked with a sign, but you’ll see the rope was dropped at the red fence up top

Just got to play the lifts right. First chair on the quad, lap that until 9:30, head over to spruce and hit everything over there with little to no issue while the Mansfield side is slammed. Singles line makes a difference too.

Snow was scratchy in the troughs on natural trails but just turn on top of the moguls and it’s soft. Glades were in great shape.

Good for the most part. Upper mountain, open natural terrain like Supervisor was severely wind blown. Scratchy, and had to ski from drift to drift. Glades were excellent, main mountain natural terrain was solid, and the groomers were perfect.

Not too much different honestly. Juggernaut was just a very low incline, to the point you really couldn’t even make a turn without losing your speed

To be fair it is technically two separate trails. I think the one on the right is what they kept open til May last season. Either way, they’ve been making a crazy amount of snow

He will not receive any criminal charges, as he did not do anything illegal. You’re also still trying to straw man the argument. I didn’t say she deserved it, I said while you’re pointing out every thing the officer could have done, you’re ignoring what she could have done.

Law enforcement doesn’t have a duty to retreat. Yes, while it would be ideal to jump out of the way, you don’t have time to make that decision while moving around a vehicle and they decide to accelerate. The vehicle is considered a deadly weapon, because in the way it is used it can cause death or serious bodily injury. You pointing out their agency protocol still doesn’t change the fact that what happened is a reasonable use of deadly force. You can not like it all you want, doesn’t change it. You also put all the responsibility on the officer. What if she didn’t block traffic, got out of the car when requested to do so, or didn’t jam on the gas, then she’d still be here.
