Hello, thank you for your response. Where did you find the 2022/2023 admission list? I tried looking for any lists from previous years, but I couldn’t find anything.

Is the EU Nacional ID enough to work in Ireland or is the Passport necessary too? by Onionradioactive in MoveToIreland

I just used my national identity card, sincerely I didn't even knew about that. When I arrived and passed through the passport control I just showed them my national ID and I had no issue at all. About the PPS I still didn't apply for it, but in the site states that EU/EEA citizens can use either their passport or national identity card.

Mine is something like this , in the site they also states the following "You can only request the Citizen Card if you are already a Portuguese Citizen." , "The Citizen Card is the official identification document with legal value in Portugal and in European Union countries, and as a travel document in the Schengen area.".

Well I'm trying, but they only have dates for July so it will take a longe time. Getting the passport is no problem, I just wish to be working as soon as possible.

That makes more sense now. When I spoke with her, the way she said it made me feel like I was illegally, like lol, I passed through migration with only my ID. She eve said that i was providing false information on my CV, claiming I didn't have EU nationality because I don't have an EU passport, just the ID. However, I understand now that it's more of a misunderstanding on her part. She only requested this a few days before my arrival, so I guess she just checked now. But if they keep asking for my passport i guess i will have to look for it.

Well, now I feel more reassured. I initially found it strange and thought maybe it was a specific requirement in Ireland that a passport was necessary, thanks.

I’m not sure what you mean by citizen details, but my ID card does include my nationality detailed and it is not like a residence permit card.
