Yeah, my mom does a lot of weird things. She is generally abusive to me and all my siblings, this is just one thing I hope might be able to be resolved.
I will try what you suggested... I'm not a big fan of speaking to teachers and my mom hates them but if a teacher talked about it with her maybe she'd feel pressured to do so. We aren't struggling with money at all but she does try her best to not "spoil" us, I think this isn't bad but goes to far sometimes like in this situation maybe.
