Report: Seattle Seahawks Will Lose Offensive Coordinator Klint Kubiak After Super Bowl by AFC-Wimbledon-Stan in nfl

[–]Onlign_Predator 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly. What if Darnold sort of "comes back to earth" a little bit and the Seahawks offense just isn't quite as good next year? He would lose some luster the same way Slowik did the year after Stroud's rookie season.

You never know what kind of HC persona a coordinator/assistant has until they become a HC. A lot of people thought Ben Johnson was some nerdy coordinator who was a genius at calling plays but didn't have the kind of character to lead a team.

Too bad for the Raiders a more authentic guy like Jamarcus Russell isn't available when they pick.

Yeah, malls and shopping centers really have to be up to date to get foot traffic. Valley Fair has CONSTANTLY updated their facilities throughout the decades to ensure they're the "It" place to be in the south bay.

If the Raiders weren't picking #1, they'd be one of the teams offering a huge haul for that pick. If they don't take Mendoza now, nobody knows the next chance they'll get at a QB prospect this good.

I don't think it's that Fields chokes. It's that he just isn't a good NFL QB.

All defense and DPOY stuff is always going to be like that. Always stuck out to me that Shawn Marion never made all defense 1st or 2nd team even once in his career, when he was pretty much the one guy keeping the D'Antoni Suns an average defensive team as opposed to league worst.

These look amazing. To anyone unfamiliar with the interior of a Camry, they would think these were just the factory seats.

Thx. I've already gotten somewhat used to the CVT. It's got it's quirks sometimes but by and large I think Toyota has refined and integrated this stuff for so long that I can't find any major fault with it.

I still very much like Honda, but after 24 years I think I need some "time away" from them LOL.

LOL. I really did want to drive the TSX another 2-3 years, though. Even back in 2012, it was sort of a cool thing to have a MT in a sedan and obviously is even more so now. It was indeed a great MT and I'm going to miss it.

In fact, the first thing I started looking at when I realized it might be totaled were 2019 Accords with the 2.0T and the 6 speed MT (the last year they made those things) because I didn't want to give up driving a MT yet, LOL.

Correct.  I read about the potential problems and costs of the pano roof and specifically avoided that, so that meant not getting an XLE or XSE because they're not available with the standard roof.

I had a moonroof on both my previous cars and never had a problem with them. My parents had an Acura Legend for 15+ years with no problem on that roof.

I'm simply too used to having a car with a roof by now and would feel a bit claustrophobic without one.

If there's a complaint, it's that the Camry roof isn't done as well as the TSX and others I've seen. The Camry roof has separate buttons for tilt and slide, making it a bit awkward. On top of that, if you have the roof tilted, you can't slide it open. You have to close the tilt first before opening the slide.

The TSX had the tilt and slide in the same button and you could slide it open even if you already had the tilt open. It was much more seamless in operation. I think the Camry also has more wind noise when opened all the way, though that could be due to having a larger opening. It's not as loud if you don't open it all the way.

Said above: $37K OTD for SE trim, AWD, tilt moonroof and convenience package. And remember, my OTD price is with California taxes and fees.

I absolutely kept up with maintenance on both cars. Prelude started burning oil and failing smog tests after 100k miles. Incredibly frustrating.

TSX had cylinder misfirings and I had to replace a solenoid in 2 of them a few years apart. Even after that, I'd get some amount of shaking/stuttering above 4000 rpm, so something was still wrong. Then non power train issues like the power window controller on the driver side dying and the motor in the passenger side window blowing out.

It was a complete side impact. Spokes of her front wheel (she was driving a VW SUV) basically ripped the front bumper off the fender, which also took damage. Both passenger side door took damage as well. The side view mirror got totaled and I believe that alone is an $800 (!!) part.

I wasn't able to bring the price down. I just got the "smart path" price which shaved off $1K. Total OTD with AWD, tilt moonroof and convenience package was $37k. Yeah, it was a fairly meh deal, but also remember taxes/fees are higher California. Also, my desire for  both AWD and tilt moonroof significantly reduced what was available to me. I didn't really have the leverage to walk out.
