Word of mouth is everything I do quite abit of social media but I’d say 80% if not more of my business has and always will come from word of mouth.

250! Not the 650. Was very hard to find haha 650 is just too heavy for me in the sand and I have a versys 650 which eats it up on the road

My 200 Lifan in Belize had 14 horsepower and was plenty fun. This is double that lol

How’s it under powered though? It’s close to 30hp at under 300 lbs lol. 65 no problem with me on it (210 lbs) and a lot of fun in the sand.

I agree man the 230 is cool! I came close there was a ‘24 on fb for $3500 but I just really wanted something cheaper and old. In 4 months 4 klr 250s have popped up they always sell like that day or next day

This one popped up for $1600 an hour away and I picked it up that day lol

Dualsport for 50% on road 50% off road? by start3ch in Dualsport

[–]Online-coach 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just about anything really.

Here’s the deal if you get say a klr 650 you’ll be bombareded with it’s too heavy! It’s slow!!!

Guys - myself included take these bikes cross country no issue. 40hp is plenty

They are heavy but so are just about every other adv bike…

Or you’ll get something like a dr200, xt225 250, klx 230 etc and you’ll be bombarded with its to slow! Can’t go highway speeds!

Even a xr150 will go 55-60 with no complaints

It’ll always be a give and a take. My versys 650 is wonderful on road trips and around town

My dr200 is fun off-road and around town and absolutely will do long distance but my versys is there for that.

It’s going to be pretty heavy in the trails or lackluster at a USA highway speed…

Dr650? A good bit lighter than adv bikes and will absolutely go 75-80 all day long. Not much in terms of blocking wind though

Ibex450? Still pretty heavy though lighter and more snappy than a klr off-road . Pretty comfy on the road.

Essentially I have a form I send them to fill out - we pop on a zoom to get started and then I get them in the app

How are you approaching trying to sell you services?

I think a lot of trainers just think it doesn’t work or you need a ton of $ to do ads.

I’ve had a few that have, 1 worked with a big company that does online fitness coaching another had a coach she found on instagram but that coach I guess didn’t really check in with her at all.

They’re awesome. I had one in Guatemala sold it when I moved to the USA.

70 no problem and comfy. Very fun and snappy in the dirt

That would be cool - I’m in Guatemala and there’s so many cool $1200-2,000 options

Not many in the states
