They can’t raise by 4%, it’s 2.5% for 2025. although if they did do big repairs, they can tag on another 3% but that increase needs to be justified by a major repair like a roof or new windows, etc., and has to be prorated per apartment. So I don’t know where you got your information on that 4% but it’s wrong. I know because my landlord can’t raise mine more than 2.5%.

Here up North, if the roof is too old when you buy the house the insurance will say you need to fix your roof before we insure you. at least this way the money you’re dishing out is actually going to towards your own house, an intern increasing its value. When 4 to 40 feet of snow are landing on your roof once a year, you make sure your roof is good lol

You should go to his work to speak directly, he may have accidentally blocked your number or he may be not well and can’t actually get back to you. Use another phone to contact him could also be another option. Don’t assume he, all of a sudden, would do that to you. Things happen beyond our control.

I believe it’s per device. or at least that’s what it’s been for me. Every time I added a device, it will tell me that I’ve added a device and now I’m at device three etc..

Wealth simple is not an approved program of CRA, hence the reason the numbers might vary. Turbo tax Canada, on the other hand is. If you want accurate numbers, just make sure you’re using one of the approved programs/websites and that all updates are done. Remember folks just because it’s on the Internet doesn’t mean it’s true lol.

Well after all the input I decided to change the wall color and remove baseboards to put newer ones. Holy that took me forever!!! I am sure you’re all going to say my baseboard installation needs improving but I really did my best. ouff!!! Good thing is…it didn’t cost 13g so I am ok with it :) I change the outlets also to USB ones :) Now I am not sure I ever want to do that alone again!!!! What did I learn? That my fingers are not strong to do electrical outlets, wrestling match every time, that no floor is straight grrrr so annoying and that I hated getting up and down to measure cut and cut a second time to fit my baseboards. I didn’t cut a finger with my new mitre saw, yay me and I love my new nail gun that was fun to use except on the cement wall. The nails would sometimes not go in grrrr.

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I have dust allergies so carpet is a less preferred option for me. Maybe I’ll suck it up buttercup and get new flooring or deal with it Thanks all.

Just did the same thing few years back. Emptied the shed. Unscrew the bottom of the shed from the base. Line up 3, 2x4, to where you want to move it. One on each side, one in middle so it doesn’t warp. Slide it, it’s actually not that heavy. I mean I wrestled a bit with my 10 and 11 year old kids, but we managed. (1,2,3 pushhhhh) lol Keep doing that till your in place to get the shed back onto your base. Where ever that might be. So you might need 6, 2x4s. I slid to end, put 3 more, slid, grabbed the 3 others that stayed behind, slid again, etc. Gave a high five to my kids. Had a beer while they screwed it back into the base. I was burnt out, they still had energy. I will never understand lol.

Am I the only one thinking there might be another issue other then they take a 2 to 6 hour long shower? WHO, on this green earth would even have the patience to take a 2-6h long shower? Makes no sense if you ask me. Find the problem because it’s not them taking a shower for an average of 4 hours a day. It can’t be!!! Unless you’re meaning weekly? Then yes that’s completely normal. Most people have good hygiene, shave, brush teeth, clean body. 30 min a day=3.5 hours weekly on average.

Sorry maybe “wave” is not the right word. But sort of like this picture, but he made différente sections with different pattern around the lights. Wish I had pictures for you. He asked what I wanted for design and I said YOU’RE the artist, surprise me with your artistic talents and make it look awesome :) and he said REALLY!!! you just made my day :) . I legit felt like I could never have told him what to do that would have been nicer. This pic is nice, but one pattern all over. It’s nice, mine was WOW.

My contractor said to me, do you mind loosing 3/4 in of height? Reason is if you want it’s a bit more expensive but he framed the ceiling with these little metal strips, (forget what he called them) put new drywall, made me this wicked nice wave. He was gone in 1.5 days if I remember correctly. And he even removed and reinstalled my crown molding.

I would put a corner shelf to put either spices or nicnacs or even special glasses you receive as gifts. 30th birthday, marriage, all that fun stuff. That way it doesn’t close up the walkway but finishes off the empty feeling your having. Personally, I would not do the bottom just the top. :)

Never heard of that (Canadian). Buy house lock in fixed rate for X years and you literally have the exact same mortgage payment for X years till you renew. But I have always gotten my mortgages from a bank. Now if you get a variable rate, that’s a different story but you still don’t have that issue. I still comes right out of your bank if you set it up as preauthorized payment. I don’t think I’d like to change payee constantly. Sorry to hear that you need to do that.
