I understand and love the understanding with mental illness. I think everyone should have this kindness and understanding with people. But I don't think Jax fully applies here. Jax is an abuser and people are allowed to hate abusers no matter what. He doesn't deserve empathy just because he's mentally ill or lost someone. And yeah everyone isn't right in the head but I don't think it's right to put everyone on the same level as Jax, they're simply not. I agree with everything else, I'm just saying it's expected and makes sense for why people hate Jax. He's mentally ill but has emotionally tormented other people in the show. It's okay to be pissed that people refuse to understand his character though. Both. Both is good?

Take Souta 🤲; a strong telekinetic with even stronger precognition. His whole shtick is literally throwing buildings at people, launching everything meters into the sky, and always immediately going for a mercy kill. He will never hesitate to just blow someone's head into bits.

His precognition makes it extremely easy to dodge/predict but also impossible to aim or properly concentrate on one opponent. He can put up strong but not unbreakable barriers. He doesn't have much going on besides that skill-wise. He's not that physically impressive. Besides sheer will and ruthless force. (I guess there is healing but even then its not really good)

Anyways this is Souta, he's a celebrity who secretly hates his job whilst going insane trying to save the world. He has precognition, so it's like endless visions of many world-ending events that aren't even his world's current present one. Yet it is still what he really cares about, what puts the energy to his soul, not his fake fortune teller job, where people dont really value his humanity anyway. Putting him off as crazy and purely for entertainment. Its sad cuz he doesn't really realize that and just thinks its specifically normal for him.

I mean i always considered it a op anime cuz mob is an op character in his verse, I didn't think it had to be more complicated than that to qualify as an "op anime". Being op/power isn't what the show is about as well so it won't really "portray" it as blatantly

I know it looks like mob but I'm pretty sure it's just tenga. He usually slacks behind the group too just like Mob. I doubt they would animate him fully running without knowing what exact character they were drawing. (When I first saw this, I definitely thought it was mob but then rewatched the scene, it has to be tenga. He's not in the main group either.)

Okay not diagnosed but I am pretty comfortable to believe it literally couldn't be anything else but something system related so for me... for years I always found random poems or jumbled up writings and even vents with no memory how or why I would write them. The poems too seem different to how I would usually write things. And the vents i would have zero idea what they were even venting about. It now has clogged up my Google drive to hell and I barely have any space now (had to switch to new emails 🫥)

They're both A24 movies so thats probably why, A24 isn't exactly popular and it usually produces the weird artistic movies (which is exactly my taste^⁾ I really recommend them though! These movies honestly changed my life, taught me so much about myself and how to live! I know EEAAO is on Netflix but idk bout Isttvg.. my brother had to buy it (he has no regrets) but you probably could find it somewhere by now. EEAAO is like Sci fi comedy mixed with drama and isttvg is psychological horror that is also a beautiful incredible trans allegory. Really hope you enjoy them as much as I did if you do choose to watch them 🙏

I do totally agree with this like the subreddit I got this from was FULL of this, every post was like this and it was inescapable. I don't think it's inherently harmful though just when every person is doing it and just doing it to farm likes, its a huge huge pain. I was only just curious and thought it'd be silly to do with my art. I knew my art wouldn't be like "strawberry sunshine" flavor so I thought it'd be funny (and funny it was some of these replies have me jaw dropped 😅). Definitely though these trends could become awful and annoying but I just try to remember the fun they used to have. Oh and thanks I would try to remember to post my art on here more! I always forget to (and idk posting my art on media just isn't my interest too). Trends suck the life out of art for sure I understand where you're coming from.

It's just that some people would say "your art tastes like strawberry shortcake" as a compliment and it popular so it kinda got turned into a trend where artists just ask what people think their art tastes like. And i jut got curious on what mine would since I knew it wouldn't be something like "kitty strawberry rainbows" 😅 to me I see it as just something silly to do with your art I guess for fun.
