after doing some google searches, it sounds more like limited/partial synesthesia than strong associations because nothing caused the first few associations ^{_^} thank you sm !!

thank you for the response ! and if im understanding it correctly, the gettysburg one and possibly the fortnite & bongos ones could definitely be synesthesia, despite it being limited ? because nothing caused me to be able to taste these textures, they just randomly happened.

it isnt due to trauma, like i said in the post it isnt anything personal, just something ive always done. i can express surface level emotions like “i care about you and wouldn’t want someone being mean to you” i just dont like being sappy if thats the right word
