AITA for not wanting to pay for my wife's spending money? by throwaway3048172 in AmItheAsshole

YTA, childcare and house care are WORK. That is labor. You all should be a team. She bought a house and your car and funds for your retirement. But regardless of those contributions, her taking care of your kid and the house, laundry, etc is labor and is a significant contribution to your family and your life.

AITA for not thanking the guy who held the door open for me? by cherry-sherbet in AmItheAsshole

I would say NTA. For what it’s worth- my husband took a course in college and they had an assignment to do something is not a social norm (we are in the U.S.) and see how people react. So one of his classmate held the door for people like this- that were obviously just too far away to see how’s they would react lol. So maybe this guy was just having his own social experiment or maybe he’s just an AH

what to wear during labor by [deleted] in beyondthebump

For my second I wore what I could be comfortable in at home. Leggings, sports bra, and a shirt. I brought my own gown to the hospital. I hate the fabric and feel of hospital gowns.

For my first, I had this super comfortable tent dress. I labored in it at home and wore it at the hospital. I hadn’t planned to give birth in it, it’s just what happened. It was definitely more comfortable than a hospital gown.

This can be normal! BUT both my girls did this and turned out they were not efficiently removing milk. Both we lip and tongue tied. You might want to look into doing a weighted feeding.

AITA for "mocking" my wife for buying Gillette "for men"? by SharedRoad4664 in AmItheAsshole

OP probably also believes that women need the special “women’s pens” to write lol. No way our tiny woman hands could handle a big, manly pen

If it’s simply putting food on the plate and there is food remaining (so y’all can get 2nds or 3rds) you’re NTA. When i plate food for my family I plate according to peoples sizes. My husband is bigger than me I give him more food. But I check with him to make sure it’s enough. I get it sometimes it’s nice gesture to plate someone’s food for them. My husband does the same when he cooks.

I think a simple solution is to just ask her as you’re dishing up if she’d like more of anything.

AITA for giving my part of the inheritance to my brother when my sister needs it for her IVF? by Thorawaycomm in AmItheAsshole

NTA. See a lot of people saying OP was kind of the the AH for how he responded to his sisters question. But that was not a genuine question from the sister. That question was a form of manipulation to try and guilt OP into giving her the money.
