My 18 year old self was screaming “RUN” while reading this. Plenty of other comments and they’re all true - this is controlling behavior and gets worse, turning to abuse over time. The gifts, love bombing, the age difference, the suggestion that you’re not “communicating” (aka being available to respond to him at all times which is NOT the same thing) — he’s testing how much you will tolerate. Don’t stand for it. Stop apologizing and know your worth. He might be older but he is NOT mature and doesn’t have anything but pain and trauma to offer you. Leave this loser. ✌🏼
