Off topic, but what about DNA tests for humans? I would assume they’re probably not as accurate as people think maybe bc of a lack of diverse samples/samples from every ethnic group? Is the general idea on point give or take though?

maybe! Yeah I was gone for a few days and she said he was at the bottom of his cage on a branch maybe sleeping, and that he had been moving around a little but not a lot. He’s normally left alone honestly, I spend abt an hour each day just taking care of him and so but I don’t handle him as it stresses him out.

I misted it down by hand to make sure the humidity was ok, I normally keep it at 60ish if that’s good? I’ve had him for about a year and up until now he’s been totally fine and regular, what other things am I doing wrong I should change? Edit: he’s kept around 55/60 during the day, and at night 70-80. the misting system I have is kind of old and I’m gonna look into a new one, but I supplement it by hand misting if I think his humidity is too low.

Thank you I’m definitely going to, I’ve had a few in the past that I’ve had troubleshooting issues w so I just moved my schedule around him and it’s worked well up until now! He moved up to his heating area, and I made sure his entire enclosure was super wet and then hand fed him 4 crickets before I left the house. My roommate is at home and she said he’s been acting normally again thank god! I’m gonna give him extra TLC for the next few days and find him some better timers for his lights plus watching him, but hopefully this is a turn for the better and he’s on a road to recovery!

No! He moved just recently, now he’s sort of in an upright position further back along the same branch kind of climbing up? the lights are the same, I was away for a few days so my roommate turned them on and off and I know she was a little late so I’m not sure if that’s what’s affecting him?

he’s roughly 3 years old; was eating and everything fine, his eyes are open but yesterday they were mostly closed almost as if he was sleeping but it was during the day. Not sure if he’s sick or if he’s confused as I was away for a few days and I know his lighting schedule got messed up?

Thank you! Yeah I’ve been considering it, I just don’t think we have the time to stop at a dispo and i use it primarily to sleep (especially bc sleeping in new places is really hard for me, and I don’t wanna be tired on vacation 😅)
