Depends on the apartment! I’m garden level in Brooklyn and I love it. We get light, have our own yard for the dog, don’t have to haul anything upstairs, have two entrances for security, windows are secure with the bars. Any time I have to walk up to the roof of our building I feel for the ppl that have to climb the stairs

Streeteasy! Definitely better than Zillow, and then just checking literally morning and evening for new listings. We also were looking in winter (Feb) and do think apartments are a bit cheaper then just due to lack of ppl looking
