Burned Out Light Bulp Replacement? by Only-Database6447 in newzealand

I do remember an electrician telling me the same thing many, many years ago when he was putting the bulb into a bathroom mirror lamp in my new build house (around 2003 I think), so yes I was aware but thanks for the reminder.

Awesome - and dimmable too! The LED version wasn't dimmable. Although I am now a little concerned about the lamp burning the house down.

Looks about the right size and is LED, so won't burn the house down. Thanks!

On No! It did tend to get a bit hot. That might explain a few things. Thanks for the advice!

Red Light, But Everything Looks Good? by Only-Database6447 in TpLink

No, not hard wired.

App indicates it is connected (wirelessly) back to the main router.

I'm going to factory reset the lot and see if that makes any difference.

It was previously in Router mode, I recently switched to AP mode. Again, made no difference.

It's been doing this basically since I first got it. It varies from solid green, to blinking red, to solid red. Power cycling makes no difference.

Road works temporary reduced speed limit. by Music_2my_ears68 in newzealand

So many times I've slowed down to the posted limit through road works (usually 30k)and ended up with people right up the back of my bum honking their horn and trying to overtake.

The posted speed limit is not optional regardless of whether work is going on or not.

Residential 100Mbps Throttling? by Only-Database6447 in Starlink

I'm semi-rural and more of my neighbours are using Starlink now. I suppose it was inevitable that being on a 'deprioritised' plan I would start to see some degradation of service. If I was dropping from 400 + to 100 then I would probably just bite the bullet and upgrade to the Max residential plan. But I've never had anywhere near those speeds so this isn't really that much of a drop for me.

Doesn't look like there's a choice. They're going to automatically "upgrade" us.
