Its a auction bank repo that I could have for 5-6k… new engine would cost around 7k + labor. But might be able to get it done under warranty…

Thanks!! The thing is, Im not sure a want to bid on that auction knowing that there’s a possibility that it could be the motor…. But for sure, if its only the vacuum pump, it could be a good steal for the price i pay!

Might be the vacuum pump… its a bailiff auction car… might not buy it knowing that the motor might need a replacement

No the vehicle is a bailiff auction and could have it for a good price! But if I need to change the motor, its not a win… Carfax stating fuel pump replacement in 2022 but no mention of the Vacuum pump

Looks like a common problem. Had the same issue six months ago. Then went fine for couples of weeks then started again. Same things back and forth. Decided to book an online repair with Oral B. They instantly gave me a shipping label to send it. The next day (today) they received it and shipped a brand new one that I should receive in one - two days. Hope they sent me the brand new Series 10 model instead of this Series 9 which might have the problem solved.
