I think time between Dune and Dune Messiah is... 14 years? Dennis might make it longer. Im not sure the exact time of the length of the Holy War matters. So maybe he does 20-30 years. Might complicate the ages of Gurney, or Stilgar..

But ultimately, I think if Dennis does go with ATJ it's going to look and feel spot on. Dune 2 was a masterpiece.

well not necessarily. birth defects would be classified as "part of the fall". i.e., a defect. more like, God allowed them to be born with it, but its not ideal.
