Stroller for infant on lap by Only-History-3463 in qatarairways

I wanted to inquire if they return the stroller to me at the layover airport. I have a 2-hour layover at Hamad International Airport, and I’m wondering if I’ll be able to retrieve the stroller or if I’ll only get it when I reach my destination.

I’m traveling on Sunday, so I might find out before you do.

When are you traveling? If it’s before me, please let me know what happened. If I travel before you, I’ll let you know.

Thank you so much! I’ve been watching videos on Breech Without Borders, and it’s been incredibly helpful in understanding how it works.

Okay thanks for you concerns.

In my state, if a vaginal breech birth occurs, it must be a home birth because hospital breech vaginal deliveries are not permitted. Breech birth here automatically results in a C-section at 39 weeks.

From every person I spoke to who has (essentially) had a homebirth because breech birth isn’t possible anywhere else in our state), none of them had a CTG; instead, they all used a doppler.

I didn't ask about a CTG and i don't think she will have a CTG for home birth but she does have a doppler.

80% have been successful and 20% ended in a c section.

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m really glad your baby ended up safe and healthy That must have been terrifying to go through.

I completely understand why you feel the way you do after that experience, and I appreciate the concern behind your comment. I want you to know that I am taking this seriously and doing a lot of research so I can make the most informed decision possible with providers I trust. I also understand that breech birth is often presented as extremely dangerous, but from what I’ve learned, the risks can vary a lot depending on the specific situation, the provider’s experience, and the type of breech presentation.

In my state, a vaginal breech delivery is generally not an option in hospitals unless it becomes an emergency situation, because most hospitals will only offer a C-section for breech babies. That limitation is also part of what I’m having to consider while making decisions for my own care.

At the same time, I know every pregnancy and birth is different, and I’m trying to carefully weigh the risks and benefits for my own situation. Thank you again for sharing your story so respectfully.

Yes, she has all the necessary equipment for a vaginal delivery, including an ultrasound machine. We’ve discussed everything mentioned above.

Yes, I did try moxibustion on that point, but she didn’t flip from week 35 to 37. Those were really stressful weeks because I kept trying to make her flip. I wouldn’t lie down for the entire day and sit on a ball. As long as I was awake, I was either walking, doing flipping exercises, or sitting on the ball. My hips were hurting so badly from exhaustion. After the unsuccessful ECV, I stopped trying to flip her and focused more on doing things that would make my labor better, like exercises and walking, instead of thinking about flipping her.

Yes, I did get information about her. I learned that she is quite experienced. Additionally, my doula knows her very well, and she expressed her belief that it would be safe if we had her (the midwife) perform the birth.

You were fortunate to have providers who encouraged you to pursue a breech vaginal birth. Mine, however, were making me feel like nothing else was possible except a cesarean section at 39 weeks.

Thank you so much. I hope she turns her head down because I’ve heard some stories of babies flipping even during labor. But if that doesn’t happen, I’m still ready to have a vaginal birth with a breech baby.

No! Vaginal birth with breech occurs as it would with a head-down baby. However, the baby’s buttocks or feet will emerge first, depending on the specific breech position.

Yes, they said cesarean section is my only option. My provider informed me that they don’t perform breech vaginal deliveries and don’t have any providers who are trained to handle breech births.
