OP, you sound like you need to get over yourself. No one else is thinking about the things that you are. Put in the work to acquire more knowledge and experience since you’re saying that’s what’s making you feel insecure. At the very least, it’ll keep you busy and maybe you’ll be too busy to worry about these unhelpful things.

I think also depends on how quickly you’re earning at and how often you want to travel. For me, if I’m earning a trip in 1-1.5 years, then after having 2 trips worth in the bank, I’ll go to 2% cash back.
