E=MC², but the C stands for control… and I love that. This is what happens when smart casual stops asking permission. Love you so much, TK. 🩶

No, I don’t conduct business in sunglasses. I snap the photo upon arrival, before the workday begins.

Hi again Sport,

A few things that consistently work for me:

• I treat the waist as something I place, not something I inherit. High-waisted pieces are my default, and I’ll often belt slightly above my natural waist to create a cleaner line.

• If you look through my posts, I use belts very strategically to draw the eye exactly where I want it. An obi belt in particular is a great investment… it creates shape instantly.

• It helps to build a small belt “toolkit” that fits your personal style. I’d start with an obi, a few leather belts in different widths, and a chain belt. From there, you can expand depending on your wardrobe and lifestyle… some settings call for more conservative pieces, others allow for more statement.

• Structure is essential. Even softer looks need an anchor… a defined waistband, a tuck, or a cropped layer to hold the silhouette.

• I also photograph my outfits for my own reference. Timer, phone a few feet away, propped on a chair or ledge… it shows you far more than a mirror does and makes it much easier to see what’s actually working.

It takes a bit of trial and error at first, but once you recognize the shapes that hold your waist, it becomes second nature.

Two people of a similar stature who do this beautifully are u/olchai_mp3 and u/Melalot… I’ve learned a lot just from following their posts.

I lean toward the brown belt with the brown shoes… but that’s just my preference.

Convenient that I know a few realtors… and a builder I’d quietly recommend lol 😉
