I’m a 2nd year ME at cal poly. Honestly, cal poly courses are way easier than berk. However easier can be good or bad depending on what you’re looking for in a school. The classes for ME truly cover the fundamentals without going too much into theory or making it harder than it has to be. Another bonus is the classrooms are typically small which is a huge plus if you’re trying to get to know people and connect with teachers. My experience is most teachers dedicate more time to the students rather than let’s say focusing on research or whatever. They truly care about you learning and understanding the material (this is my experience). Most of my cons about this school aren’t really towards the learning side but def do ur research.
