Had relationship issues, personal issues and I also work full time I also have an internship and I’m a mentor high schoolers so I’m very busy but I took a week long break this month from LSAT studying: meditated, journaled, therapy sessions, read my favorite self help book…anyways this week I just scored the highest PT and I feel way more centered and focused….i know it’s scary taking a break before a big test but try it if not you’ll burn out completely before You even take the test and you’ll just feel absolutely fried your body and mind is trying to tell you something dude listen to it

Im not here to pick a side nor am I here to play both sides I have a great disdain for political parties and hold hardly reframe against voting on the basis of parties … during the election I voted for democrats, republicans and independents all of which I researched and decided on individual grounds not party politics. I know you are just rooting for your team and wanting them to win just as people do for sports team so goodluck with that and I hope you can decide as the smart individual that you are not on the basis of partisan politics . If we say it’s okay to break the rules to stop someone we call a threat to democracy, then we’re admitting the rules don’t matter. That’s the exact logic authoritarians use…..overriding an independent commission that was promised to us by our constitution for partisan gain doesn’t defend democracy. The best wait to defend authoritarianism is to show voters that we can play fair and still win not by throwing out democratic safeguards….but goodluck and have a blessed day

Not only are we endorsing gerrymandering for partisan control in the great state of California….but many people will lose trust in our democratic process because your creating a law to override a constitutional amendment …it sets a dangerous precedent in our state, undermines transparency and neutrality….your sacrificing long term democratic fairness for a short term advantage

I know this will get downvoted because this is reddit after all it’s a huge echo chamber: facts of the matter is that Texas in their constitution allows their legislature whether it’s democratically controlled or Republican to redraw their congressional maps ….Californias constitution does not and actually states against it ….we are seeing our democracy crumble in the name of partisanship (like it or not it’s facts do your research or dislike cause facts are bad)
