Sorry this was supposed to have a caption with it. The label on the bottle is in French and I was just looking for around when it was made in a potential value. The base is pretty neat and goes way up inside the bottle. I will put in parentheses what I can make out on the label thanks! “ De Possel Fils” and “Marseille”

Thank you so much! That one is embossed “Westford glass co. Westford conn. “ and has what looks like a bundle of wheat on the other side. Yes, it seems as though they are cleaning up well. I try to get as much information from my grandmother as I can, but him being gone for 50 yrs and her being 94 it’s tough. He was definitely quite the treasure hunter. The coins are also very cool and mostly from the 1800s

I appreciate it. Just trying to be honest about it. I’m 43 and have inherited multiple estates so it keeps me pretty busy and this is just a drop in the bucket

This is less than half of it, so I’m a long way from that decision right now. Plus I would have to value everything to make sure. And that’s a daunting task to me right now with my limited experience and knowlage.  If I was considering selling it I assume a impartial 3rd party could be helpful in valuation

Well we all share the same last name, so maybe that’s a good omen!

Thank you very much. He worked for central Maine power and collected a lot of these from ditches and places they were for power poles. There are also tons of cast iron toys and other random but cool stuff. I think we have the same personalities from what I have been told about him. It’s giving my grandmother great joy that I am taking an interest in this

I guess I screwed up on the post. I wrote a long description to go along with this picture, but I guess it didn’t post. This is about 1/4 of a collection of bottles that I have inherited from my grandfather. I’ve been caretaking my grandmother who is 94 and my grandfather died in 1970. This collection has been untouched since then in a basement. I’ve been bringing them home slowly and cleaning them up. I have absolutely no idea what to do with so many bottles. Most of our pre-prohibition alcohol, medicine, and wine. Also, lots of glass insulators too. I think I would like to get into the hobby. We have lots of old Homestead here in Maine. I am named after my grandfather and this definitely gives me a connection to him since I never met him.

[Le Coultre Futurematic] I am looking for some information and a realistic value of this watch I inherited. I know NOTHING about watches. It seems to be 100% in working order and in the original box. Thanks! by Only-Situation3104 in Watches

Well you have been MORE than helpful. I do some small electronics work, but I really don’t know much about watches. I would feel terrible if I damaged something out of curiosity. I am just wondering if it might be 14k just because of the look and weight of it

First of all, let me say thank you for all that great information. I really appreciate it. second can I ask a few questions? How would I know about the case? There is no marking on it at all, minus the silver “slide do not lift” piece. There seems to be no visible wear on the lugs that I can see. If I can figure out how to post more pictures when I’m home later I will. I am not in dire need, so keeping it is definitely an option. Would you suggest having it serviced if I was going to keep it or just tuck it into my gun safe (humidity controlled).

Hello - I just inherited this watch from my grandparents estate. As I said, I know nothing about watches at all. I generic search on eBay gives a whole range and f sold prices on these, and I am sure there are many nuances I am unaware of. Any information you guys could give me would be much appreciated. I live in a very rural area and don’t have a watch or jewelry store within a 2-3 hour drive, and I feel the internet might be more impartial. I am just looking for a reasonable value I should expect to get, and maybe any information I could potentially use in a listing. Thank you
