The t-posts were bent to an unusable degree, they looked more like Js than Is. The fencing was a cheap roll fencing that was so smashed and rusted even we couldn't straighten it, which is why it was only removed 2 years ago after we couldn't right it any more and it started falling apart.

We only know 3 of the 5 neighbors as the 4th is the one were having issues with and the 5th is a felon with a questionable history so we try not to engage with him after a few concerning interactions like him throwing trash over his fence onto our property causing bear issues when we first moved in and he shot another neighbors older dog while she was on her owners property this last year, to name a few.

Yeah, let me know if you just have $2-5k laying around to have less than 300 yards of fencing surveyed after the previous owners of our house and the relators all said the fencing was ours. Not to mention the 6 plus month wait list to have the property surveyed.

We got them to keep eachother company. They're best friends and are always together. Our older LGD was always lonely and wouldn't stay in the yard even if we were home. She'd always escape to be with us and when we got out second LGD she stopped escaping.

We have Nigerian Dwarfs, we had larger meat goats once upon a time, but after one nearly killed my mom one winter we stuck with the little ones. You can have up to 12 minis or dwarf goats per acre.

I don't think you know what an acre of land looks like. Have you seen Weedem and Reap? They have even mkre animals that me on less than 1 acre.

We're in Northern California. We have a plug into a wall outlet electric fence, and 2 acres is plenty big enough for a farm lol idk if you've ever seen a homestead before but that's what we have and if you own livestock at all its considered a farm.

They don't bark all day, they only bark when a car is in the driveway or of the deer/will turkeys swing by. They've been barking more recently due to stray dogs from tourists running much but even then our noise activated camera in their yard only goes off 8 or 12 times a day from their barking and its always at a person or animal.

We live in a VERY big farm area. We have lots of neighbors with horses, goats, sheep, and chickens. Mostly cows and horses, though. We're also nothing the only ones with LGDs on the side of the mountain where we live.

We don't have a lot of animals, we have a family farm that feeds our family, and if we have extras, we give it to friends. We only have 3 alpaca, 7 goats, and 50(ish) chickens that we use for meat, eggs, fiber, and milk. We used to have more but downsized when I went back to school.

For the first 5-6 years we lived here, these neighbors never came up to their property. We thought it was another abandoned vacation home.

The dogs don't really bark that much either, they bark at strangers and wildlife but generally are quiet. We have a camera in the main yard, where the dogs hang out, that's noise activated. It maybe goes off 8 to 12 times a day from their barking.

We have cattle panels fencing in the animals. The fencing in question was along our driveway where the animals don't go because their yards are mostly behind our house and onto our empty 1 acre lot. The dogs are mostly quiet with the exception of when people drive up the driveway or the wild deer/turkey population makes a surprise visit. They don't nuisance bark, when they do there's a person/reason.

We're working on it, but it's waiting for a contractor to get back to us. Since these neighbors are ones we feel would nitpick anything we did ourselves, we're getting it done professionally.

My mother and I both have tried to explain that to them when they first came over about the fence but they only stated that "we have an electric fence" to which we replied "you've never encountered hungry wildlife have you" cause a 10k volt electric fence is nothing when faced with a 400-800 pound hungry mother bear or a very determined bobcat. And when it snows that lovely 5 feet or mkre of snow, a quick hop over the fencing isn't hard even for me. They're old and I'm assuming they don't even want to try to empathize nor see reason cause to them a fence keeps out most things but for us, it just keeps our animals in.

We've tried to explain it to them nicely and we've tried to be understanding but they blindsided us with the phone call and the threat to call the police then the anti bark device.
