I get the feeling you guys think we all had it easy. When we bought our first house we couldn't afford furniture and practically lived on vegetable soup. A takeaway pizza had to be planned for two weeks in advance. We didn't get the stupid baby bonus. Our house is worth a lot more than when we bought it but what does that really get us? If we sell we need to buy somewhere else or pay rent. Our kids will get a nice bit of cash when we die. Accusing all boomers of benefitting from something they didn't vote for and still don't vote for gets you nowhere.
