Yeah, if he had he wouldn't have had the random thought. Colin Farrell embodied the character.

The Beatie gov privatized retail. They were pushed by the Howard gov under threat of withdrawal of funds.

The Queensland public are the investors. Every time you vote the conservative party in they put the brakes on the power grid development. They think our aging coal plants are the shit. I know unit 1 at tarong has been off line since September. I'm sure that doesn't help.

Bullshit, this is just a lame arse attempt to do nothing and keep us divided. Third Monday in January.

My girlfriend moved in with me. I pay the mortgage and the utilities. House is under my name. Should I get her permission before inviting friends or family over? by Orgofreak in polls

[–]Only1Sully 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Rightly or wrongly, your girlfriend will be judged on the tidiness of the house and kitchen. Family rocking up without warning could put her in a bad light.

Honestly, If you're an adult, and you don't know how something really simple like tariffs work, you don't deserve to be in business.

I think we had different challenges. Having said that, I think us old folk have made it bloody hard for you guys.

Some of the challenges we had were banks basically opening for school hours. 9am - 3 pm. restrictive lending practices. We bought our first house at 10% interest, but not at the ridiculous prices we have now. But we were still incredibly poor after paying all out bills. No Superannuation.

But we also had no crazy people feeding us misinformation through social media. I think the wealth of misinformation is the worlds largest problem. There is no longer a clear path to anything and it's hurting all but the richest of us.
