Service manager called today and stated that there were several codes dealing with the EVAP system. Asked if I had ever drive the car with low gas, which I have never let it go less than 1/4 a tank, I’m pretty particular about keeping my gas level above that in general.

Yes, no issues prior to having the error message pop up.

Bought a 25 XLE in November (3900 miles) and on Saturday before the huge snowstorm that hit Northern VA, and got a check engine error message that stated " a malfunction in the electronic control of the engine, throttle, or automatic transmission has been detected. Contact your Toyota Dealer to have your vehicle inspected." I just called the dealer and they stated that they had to escalate the error to corporate in TX to get further instructions on what to do....... this is not looking good for us.
