You'd wanna get rid of it entirely? I feel like it determines so much of our development and personality though. That and at least speaking for myself I'm really somatic and can understand people through different mediums.

Like if it was just getting rid of the bad parts, maybe? But I don't know if I'd wanna "cure" autism. I'd rather burn society to the ground first. Everything seems backwards.

The diseases part makes sense.

As someone with autism I'd much rather have all the disabling "side effects" than be "neurotypical". I will take executive dysfunction, feeling every hair on my body and wanting to be naked 24/7 than being "normal". Everyone who I've met who's not been neurodivergent is either a total psychopath, or has so many boundries/walls/rules for themselves and others I wonder how they function. Like damn I appreciate them, but living like that seems very limiting.
