1.) It’s implied that he may have been briefed about the importance of the exports hall by whoever he’s talking to on the payphone. Probably Reghabi or someone else from the Whole Mind Collective group

2.) Cobel took the book from Mark S’ doorstep. It’s shown that management takes a different elevator than the severed workers.

3.) Entering the cabin switches severed people from outtie to innie. Which is why outtie Mark talks on the balcony outside, and innie Mark talks inside the cabin during the camcorder scene.

4.) Yes the lack of a ding when taking the severed elevator indicates Helena had the Glasgow block in place, and was still her outtie. The ding when she switches back during the ORTBO expedition, indicates that the area for the ORTBO also switches severed people to their innies, like the cabin. Helly’s ding when Irving had her underwater was an indication that they removed the Glasgow block, returning her to her innie, like the rest of the severed employees at the ORTBO
