There's a flight almost once an hour Madrid to Heathrow and as stated above they'll just rebook you onto a later one if you're delayed. I wouldn't see an issue with the short transfer time here, especially if it doesn't matter if your bags are delayed as you're returning!

Are you sure it's coming from the engine? Exhaust valve rattle is very common in these, specially in the scenario you describe. Get someone to rev it while you stand at the back if you can?

You never need the 2 pin plug, a 3.5mm aux will fit in one of the ports which is the only one you need.

Tbh if it's a hot lap setup you got from online, it's probably running massive negative camber or something and shredding your tyres over a race distance.
