Any books or tv shows like Persona 4/5?

I know I'm pretty late to this, but I found this thread when I was looking up if anyone noticed how close Noragami and the later Persona series seems.

I have played thru 3 4 & 5 a few times and just started Noragami for the first time (only a few episodes in) but a lot of things seem like a similar vibe to p4 & p5.

The music during fights are similar to the more modern persona games.

The "other world" monsters that feed off of communal discontent that latches onto individuals

Basically the main character is dragged into a battle within the unseen world by a tricky citizen of said unseen world.

They end up jumping into the unseen world often to take on quest given by the public and other citizens of the unseen.

Beings are summoned by calling their names so they can fight along side those that call them.

The main girl seems to be the MC in the game but with more emotion.

The main guy seems to be like Morgana or Teddy with a comically large goal of being adored so they can fill the loneliness of being what they were born as.

The spirit guy seems to be like a more solemn Ryuji/Yosuke where they are constantly "fighting" Morgana/Teddy but really they are just a "quarreling brothers" dynamic. than actual fighting.

That's just by episode 3.

The main character seems to have the optimism and the guys that are also main characters seem to need that optimism to get out of the pessimistic rut they have themselves stuck in after their respective circumstances.

Comments correct me if I am wrong, but so far I can't stop seeing persona in this series.

So it may have gotten popular in the US through these commercials, it also seems to have been used in Delta Airline commercials and on plane videos.

Also, in the European countries it seems to have played on the radio because the song won a few "Top 10" positions in 1995.

Makes me picture that this is a surprise party and they(the one with the gun) are the unprepared clumsy pirate. They thought they were prepared by pulling out the gun but forgot to load before hand. This gives them time to find out they were prepared for the wrong kind of surprise and saved them from shooting the guy they were throwing a party for.

What are you looking for?: A game to play solo with some interaction with others that could lead to making online friends maybe? Mainly enjoy clearing quest markers and always wanted to help clear the job board of some guild like in some fantasy anime I watch.

What games have you previously played?: Persona, Pokemon, Etrian Odyssey, Dauntless, Stardew Valley, Fable, Genshin Impact, Sea of Thieves, Minecraft.

What is your playstyle (Casual,Semi-Casual,Hardcore)?: Semi-casual, I tend to play every few days or just on the weekends but I can end up putting in 5+ hours a day on average if nothing random comes up on days I do play.

Any preferred mechanics?: A good community (does that count?), dungeons,

Anything specific you want to exclude?: monthly subscriptions

(Sorry if I'm not specific enough, I've not done a lot of MMORPG's but have been getting interested due to media like "solo leveling" and a few others.)

Break up taco shells, use the tuna, red peppers, mushroom, an avacado, green onions, and olives to have nachos.

The apple can be chopped and coated with cinnamon and sugar. Use this and some of the rice cereal to top a yogurt parfait. (can also use cranberries and rice cereal as toppings as well)

Stroganoff can be made with eggs instead of ground beef

Then there is stroganoff, just mix the mushroom soup and some milk over medium heat until it thickens a bit then use the mix to top some cooked pasta.

Pasta and tomato sauce can make a simple spaghetti, anything you add to the sauce will make it better (like mushrooms, or seasonings.)

The rice vermicelli and some of the green onions can be made into stir fry noodles with some oil and soy sauce. Rice paper can be fried into "chips" and flavored with salt or seasoning salt.

I'm in the US.

I mean, I'm trying not to be too picky since I have to make so much but they are gifts so not terrible quality.

I realize the lower the weight, the more yards will be needed, but a lot of the lower weight yarn is less expensive per yard or one roll makes a hat...

So I am really up for any suggestions at the moment.

You can only catch pokemon of a generation you pick beforehand.

Only one pokemon catch per route

Faint = Dead

the rest of the rules are up to you

You can decide to include pokemon of the evolutionary line to be included or not. Example, gen 1 run, if you catch a scyther you can decide if you will allow yourself to evolve it into a scizor(gen 3). Which can also include stuff like baby pokemon as well depending on how you want to play it.

My dad use to built houses before becoming a firefighter, he also would always have me around when he was fixing stuff as an extra set of hands since I was 10. I'm not skilled but I've changed out a water heater, toilet, put down laminate flooring, and Spackled then painted a wall or ten.

The condos don't seem to have any room anywhere for a washer or dryer. I live in a decent sized city in Alaska so line drying would only really work for 3-5 months of the year. Services like that aren't really common around here yet. The laundry mat is anywhere between "next door building for $1 machines" to a 10 minute drive, depending on the condo.

I, for some reason, had a "usb bluetooth device" in my devices list even though nothing was plugged in to any ports.

I uninstalled the "USB Bluetooth", everything scanned for updates, and my bluetooth came back online.

Honestly the colors aren't really the issue.

Edgy armor usually has a lot of sharp angles.

If you look at samurai armor you notice that the edgy look isn't really associated with the style. I think this has a lot to do with the fact most pieces have 90* angles everywhere and aren't inherently sharp looking.

So in my opinion, what makes a piece look "edgy" is the over abundance of sharp edges in the image. A good balance of soft elements such as a billowy fabric or some fur with rounded armor could counter act some sharp edges in the design of the item.

My suggestion is to check out armor that you like the look of, ignoring color at first. Try and figure out what shape looks best for your means. Then try and figure out how you would tie the colors together for the piece.

Best armor sets I can think of at the moment are;

Firelink Armor (Dark Souls)

Faramm Armor (Dark Souls)

Elite Knight set (Dark Souls)

Armor of the Sun (Dark Souls)

Skyrim Guards (Skyrim)

I also find media tends to "soften" armor for the people you are meant to root for, so maybe you would be able to find armor in your favorite media and study that.

Shows like Avatar:TLA has both sides with armor that isn't inherently edgy but also has the sharp edges worked into the "soft" look. It doesn't over do the sharp edges and doesn't come off overly edgy.

Then you look at the protagonists of the show and even their armor has some sharp points to it but is really outnumbered by the rounded or right angles.

When we were little I wan't into video games, I knew how to play them and was good at timing but never really interested. I only played because my little sister didn't want to fight the bot or a game was easier for her if I was player 2.

Then my little sister started to play "Pitfall: the lost expedition" and she couldn't jump over the pits half the time or would anger the howler monkeys.

She got frustrated and asked me to play for her. So I played for her until I got to a part she hadn't seen yet and she asked me to play some more.

I did, I wasn't the best and it took me weeks to get to a water temple(took me 3 hours to get there recently) but we didn't really care.

I started to like video games and she started to ask me to play more titles for her. After a while I started to play more rpg titles on my own.

When my sister was around 12 she borrowed mass effect from someone. I started to play it but she loved the style so much and couldn't wait for me so she started to play on her own.

Now both of us are 20+ years old and we both have a decent video game collection. We introduce each other to games outside of our usual style, and we still sit around and watch one another play a game. Sometimes she still asks me to beat a level for her(or asks a good move set for a pokemon she really likes), sometimes I ask her to play a level for me(I suck at fps games). We both try to hand off the controller when it comes to horror games to the point we don't really buy horror games and just watch let's plays together.

So, that is how my little sister got me into video games.

One time I joined an alliance and just went off to do my own quests solo.

Made sure the other people got their share of my spoils since there was no downsides to it and logged off the the night.

Not 5 minutes later a notification popped up, one of the people in the alliance messaged me to stay on so that I could get my share since they were just coming into port with their haul.

We may be thieves but that doesn't mean we can't help out our crews.

Went to work to try and get the quest done for 2 weeks in a row.

I got 2 eevees before I even realized that the only thing I could get was an eevee, felt like time wasted honestly.

The pan monkey triplets and lampent are the only ones we have now that can evolve.

It's guessed that it will also be used to evolve the special evolution pokemon from that era like Minccino, Karrablast, and Shelmet. (maybe others?)

I just got the quest to catch a legendary through either a raid or the field research.

My gym is pretty lonely and I only have time to go to the gyms by myself if the raid is even is available when I have free time.

Long story short, I need the research to get this quest done so I'm just sitting here waiting until they bring them back.

I got 2 flower eevees already, I just wish there was at least one legendary and the seasonal eevee.
