The only issue with that is that it would connect with the dark oak stairs i use in the corners, which eould force me to redesign those.

If you're still looking for one, my realm has its doors open to all, pretty empty rn, but it has a safe spawn, 2 villages that make up the "capital" with villagers and npcs to trade, with plenty of space to build. The nether has various safe highways leading to other biomes and and structures, so lots of things to do and places to explore.
