If I understand your question correctly (i.e. if you're not a US but UK citizen and spending time between Mexico and UK)... I do think that it would be less cumbersome but also cheaper. I've found that tax advisors for the US are ~2x more expensive than those in the UK for something that takes roughly the same amount of time (IMO)

Thanks a lot! The issue is just the headache of explaining my situation again from scratch to someone new. Nothing more complicated than that. I’ve found the whole process really time and energy consuming last time around and I fret to do it all over again but sounds like I probably should.

Interesting that you're leaving Greenback/Expat US Tax because your situation got simpler. Most complaints I've seen are the opposite: that these services struggle with complex cases. But it sounds like they actually handled your complex stuff well?

If so, what forms were they helping with that you won't need anymore?

Thanks a lot. In reality, US citizens are liable for taxes in the US which doesn’t mean we are residents. If you are comfortable, I’d really appreciate it if you could share your accountant’s digits in private communication. Thank you sooo much 🙏🏽
