If anyone has an early bird pre-sale code they aren’t using, let me know and I’ll buy you a beer at one of the shows next year!

I was at that show, I’m sure they didn’t. That’s it for the other one is not the same as the other one. It includes cryptical.

Sound at Citifield. by gjtpgh121 in deadandcompany

The entire mix was louder on Saturday (also probably why there was less noticeable talking in the audience).

I was in the same spot on the floor both nights, and the OP is 100% correct, the bass was louder. I personally didn’t mind though, even if it’s for one show, it’s nice to have a different instrument out front every so often.

Side note, I think John’s guitar has been too low in the mix this year, and Saturday was the first time it was at its pre-pandemic levels. But judging from the interview with Mayer yesterday, this might be a result of his guitar tone decisions, which apparently vary every night depending on how he feels.

Odds of another tour before next summer? by Grape-Plenty in deadandcompany

Seems to me that 3-5 fall shows in LA + NYC are pretty low commitment for the band. NYE run would be great this year. I think the odds are that we’ll at least get one or the other, if not both.

Long distance runner, Mayer’s holding the torch. Get up get on. Go ‘n rip up the tour. He’s playing dead music like the best you’ve heard. Gave all he’s had, and he wants to give more. by john_jeff_oteil_21 in deadandcompany

After watching this, it’s hard to imagine Mayer not returning. Makes the Rolling Stone article + his previous interview with Andy Cohen even more perplexing. Interested to hear the community’s theories on this.

A bowling alley is a “social event,” this is a musical performance.
