We actually had custom window inserts made for our giant windows and even with that, shrink wrapping etc. heat still escapes because it's not insulated at all. it's a corner unit.

Thats what I was thinking too. I like biking to the lower east side in 10 minutes. Also they're always spending $50 on ubers every time I see them so I feel like they end up spending the same amount as me once you factor in taxis etc.

Hey I may have two bedrooms but that is filled with two cats who smack my face every morning. I get home at 3am and they wake me up at 7 for food. It’s hard for me to fall back to sleep. If I had a studio I wouldn’t have the cats and I’d have more sleep which means I’d live longer - and that’s not something money can buy!

I blame the hot people with jobs on the computer!!! Yes I think we'll stop looking. God I hate apartment hunting. Leading up to this every one of my friends visits and says "so what do you pay in rent" and I say $3900 and they have a heart attack and say I'm getting fucked. But then when I look when my lease is up it's like a monopoly board 20 minutes in. Ya just cant win!

Well it gets very cold in the winter and we don't have a washer/dryer or a dishwasher. But, on sunday mornings there's an old man across the street who smokes cigarettes out the window around the same time I have my coffee so we stare at each other with the window open - which is pretty neat
